In CompleteFTP, to use HTTPS, a server document (SSL/TLS Certificate) is required. During Complete FTP installation, a server certificate is generated and can exist used. For browsers to trust your site, you must secure a SSL/TLS Certificate issued by a Certificate Potency (CA), such as DigiCert.

1. CompleteFTP: Create Your CSR (Certificate Signing Asking)

Before you can order your SSL/TLS Certificate, yous must first generate your CSR. You volition then use the contents of your CSR to lodge your SSL/TLS Certificate.

CompleteFTP: How to Generate a CSR

  1. Open up the CompleteFTP Manager.

  2. In the CompleteFTP Managing director, in the Site/Sites panel on the left, click the FTP/FTPS Settings.
